Spanish Homes online are delighted to open our new office in San Miguel de Salinas.
We hope to open our newest office location in the beautiful town of San Miguel de Salinas in January 2021.
Business is booming with more and more people looking to sell or buy property in Spain. These mostly ex-pat clients are contacting us, they need our time and attention and we need more space.
We’ve got a number of affiliate offices dotted around the Alicante region. We operate as far north as Denia and as far south as Pilar de La Horadada on the Murcia/Alicante border.
Our close association with Spanish Solutions means we often use their offices in La Zenia to meet our potential clients, agents, property buyers and handily enough, any of our clients with tax and legal queries.
Simply sales and Rentals will also be represented in our San Miguel office, with Vicki relocating there. She ran a very successful pre-Covid office in Villamartin and we’re sure she’ll continue in the same mode now that we are about to enter post-pandemic Spain.
JJC capital partners, our equity release collaborators also have a presence in our new office. Equity release in Spain is fast becoming a hot topic. We can help to put you in front of the right people should that be something you’re interested in.

What about San Miguel itself?
We know there are plans to build thousands of new properties there, but we currently have a good market for resale properties around the area.
San Miguel is found when you drive though Villamartin along the orange-tree lined winding Spanish country road. You may not realise that you’re 75 metres above sea level until you turn around and discover that you can see for miles. You’ll see the beautiful colourful countryside and enjoy the views as far as the salt lakes of Torrevieja and La Mata.
The surrounding beauty is part of the reason why the population has increased threefold in 20 years.

Local areas; La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Villamartin.
Location too is a factor. The Mediterranean beaches of Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima are just 10 minute drive away.
La Zenia Boulevard, one of the largest shopping centres in Spain is less than ten minutes by car. Golf courses include the breathtaking Las Colinas Golf and Country club. We interviewed the manager of the resort last year and he told us in no uncertain terms that their plan is to turn Las Colinas into the best-golfing experience in Spain. We were impressed to see a number of pro golfers taking advantage of the winter sun. Quite a few pros are regularly playing on Las Colinas during the winter of 2021.
If you are coming to visit us in our San Miguel office on Wednesday mornings, be prepared to return with bags of oranges, fresh vegetables and locally grown produce. San Miguel market is famous with locals and ex-pats alike, as they search for that sociable bit of bargain hunting.
We love the idea of having the market on our doorstep in our new office. It is especially important for those thinking of buying a property in Spain that they experience real Spain. Sure, we like the Irish and British bars but for a uniquely Spanish feel, you need to visit one of the many tapas bars around the town, especially on market day.
While you’re exploring the San Miguel region, check out the church. The Alicante area had a famous earthquake back in 1829. As a testament to the quality of building techniques even then, the church was left completely unharmed. The views from the bell tower make the trip well worthwhile.
